At first glance, Bank of Me for the iPhone seems like a solution to a problem you never should have had in the first place. If you need to keep tabs on what your friends owe you, maybe you need new friends, not a debt-tracking system. But you can also use it to remind yourself of what you owe other people. And that doesn’t have to be money; you can customize the “currency.” So if you owe somebody something a little less pecuniary -- say a hug, a favor, a drink, a couple of tickets to a ballgame -- you can use it for that too.
My review of the app is online today at Macworld.com.
